1.    No moving in the last 15 minutes of class.  Stay in class for the wrap up of the lesson.

2.       Use your agenda as a hall pass. 

3.    No book bags in bathroom.

4.    Gum is an After School Detention.  Don't chew it.

5.       No students are allowed in the teacher’s lounge.

6.       Put your cellphones, Ipods, etc. in your locker.  We are NOT responsible for lost or stolen electronics.

Families are NOT required to attend; families should only attend one of their choice.

Applications forms and all required documents are posted on the Challenger Early College website.  All application documents are due to the early college office by 5:00 p.m. on March 1st.

The Wrestling and Basketball games on January 26th have been moved to January 25th.

The Middle School Basketball tournament will begin on January 31st at Mill Creek.

If you are going to change the way your child goes home, even for one day, then you need to notify the office in writing before your child leaves that day.  If the office has not been notified, then your child may not go home a different way that day.

The January meeting is rescheduled for January 30th. It will be held in the Middle School Media Center at
6 PM .  All are welcome to help plan and share ideas for the Valentine's Day Dance.

 

Policy update:  There are no family trips that count as educational field trips.  All family trips are unexcused absences.  

 

 

NCMS Teen court recently visited the Gaston County Teen Court.  These students are putting in a lot of extra effort to help improve our school and we greatly appreciate it.

* Tops should be polo or golf style shirts - Colors (solid only): white, red, navy blue, or royal blue.
*Bottoms can be pants, shorts, capris, skirts, skorts and must not be cargo style - Colors (solid only): tan, black, or navy.
*Shirts must be tucked at all times.
